ResumeForYou respects your privacy and aims to keep resume creation simple. This policy explains what information the website handles, where it is stored and how third-party services may receive information.

1. Resume information

The resume builder is designed to process your resume information in your browser. Your name, email, phone, location, website, summary, experience, education, skills, projects, certifications, languages and optional photo are used to generate the resume preview. The website stores resume form data locally in your browser so that your work can remain available on the same device and browser.

2. Local storage

ResumeForYou uses browser local storage for features such as saving resume data and locally submitted reviews. Local storage is controlled by your browser. Clearing site data or browser storage can remove locally saved information. Do not use the tool as the only copy of important documents.

3. Contact messages

If you contact us through the website, the information you submit, such as your name, email address and message, is transmitted through FormSubmit and delivered to our support email address: resumeforgsupportonline@gmail.com. Please review the third party's own privacy terms before submitting information.

4. Payments and donations

ResumeForYou does not require payment to create or download a resume. If you voluntarily choose to donate, the donation button opens PayPal in a separate tab. Payment information is handled by PayPal rather than stored by ResumeForYou.

5. Third-party links

The website may link to services such as PayPal, Unsplash, LinkedIn or other external websites. Those websites have their own privacy practices and terms. ResumeForYou is not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

6. Cookies and analytics

The current resume builder does not require a user account and does not intentionally use advertising cookies to create a profile about you. If analytics, advertising or other tracking services are added in the future, this policy should be updated before those services are used.

7. Children's privacy

ResumeForYou is a general-purpose career tool. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us through a contact message, contact us so the information can be reviewed.

8. Data security

No website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep copies of important resumes on your own device and avoid entering passwords, financial information or unnecessary sensitive information.

9. Your choices

You can remove locally stored resume information by using the browser's site-data or storage controls. You can also choose not to submit contact forms or donations.

This policy may be updated when the website's features or services change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
